Recently graduated from Newcastle University studying a degree in Marketing & Management
As my time at Newcastle University is drawing to a close I’d like to take some time to reflect the first painting I created cooped up in my dorm during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, I have used what I’ve learnt in my studies of management and marketing to build and create a brand of my own, over the past three years I have grown a strong following on Instagram and tiktok, where I push myself to be as creative as possible in my work and content creation. Selling my work alongside my course has been a great way to put theory into practise and it has been very rewarding being able to sell over 40 of my artworks on social media to friends and followers over the course of three years. Painting for me has been an excellent tool to keep my imagination on its toes and ensure that the creative cogs in my brain are always ticking! I’m glad that I rekindled my love for art during the pandemic and persevered with it despite its challenges. Although my painting started in Newcastle, it’s not something that’s going to leave me. In the future, I hope to keep striving for creativity and hopefully make more good art.
