Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Barry served as Chief Executive Officer and co-founder of Public Infrastructure Partners LLC (PIP), where he led the company’s operating platform of highly experienced industry executives with expertise in M&A, operations, and maximizing investor returns. PIP’s partners and clients included leading corporations and private equity, infrastructure, and pension funds in North America and Europe.

Mr. Barry previously served as a senior executive for a number of industry-leading Fortune 500 companies in various strategic, finance, and operational roles including Duke Energy, GE, CBS (Westinghouse), and Kinross Gold.

“I am delighted to join A&M, together with Faisel, to expand the firm’s corporate M&A presence and unlock value for clients. He has completed over $50 billion in complex public and private corporate transactions including cross-border M&A and long-term strategy formulation.

Prior to joining A&M, Mr. Hussein served as Chief Development Officer and co-founder of PIP, where he was responsible for global client advisory and led M&A execution to create value across growth, distressed, and undercapitalized opportunities.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hussein was an investment banker at Salomon Brothers/Citigroup and RBC Capital Markets. While at RBC, he co-founded the Los Angeles investment banking office, expanded the firm’s global footprint, and completed several multi-billion dollar cross-border M&A transactions. Mr. Hussein has also advised public sector, municipal and government entities on M&A and strategy.

“A&M is unparalleled in its ability to both advise and implement across strategy, tax, operations, financial due diligence, performance improvement, and other related M&A services necessary to drive shareholder value. I’ve been extremely impressed with the firm’s results-oriented culture and agility to deliver tangible results for clients,” said Mr. Hussein. “The ability to combine PIP’s intellectual capital and deep industry relationships with A&M’s Transaction Advisory team, provides corporate clients with expert advice necessary to ensure seamless M&A and strategic transactions.”
